Q1 2025 Sandbox-like Games Performance in Egypt on Unified Platform

In the first quarter of 2025, sandbox-like games in Egypt exhibited varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active users according to Sensor Tower's data.

Roblox maintained its popularity with a peak in weekly downloads at around 79K in mid-January. The game saw a steady climb in active users, reaching approximately 2.9M by the end of March. Revenue, however, showed a declining trend, dropping from $13.6K at the start of January to around $6.1K by the end of the quarter.

Block Craft 3D：Building Game experienced fluctuations in downloads, with a noticeable high of 54K in the second week of January. Despite the ups and downs in downloads, active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 256K by the end of March. Revenue saw a modest increase, peaking at $117 in late March.

Town Building Life Simulator did not generate any revenue but maintained a steady download rate, peaking at 23.7K in late January. The active user base grew steadily throughout the quarter, reaching over 141K by the end of March.

School Party Craft displayed moderate download numbers, with a peak of 15.3K in mid-January. Active users increased consistently, ending March with approximately 268K users. Like Town Building Life Simulator, this game did not generate any revenue during the quarter.

Finally, Robot Game: Robot Transform 3D showed a decline in downloads, reaching a low of 6.6K in late February, but rebounded slightly by the end of March. Active users followed an upward trend, climbing to about 78K by the quarter's end, although no revenue was generated.
